Today’s Pedal Line Friday submission is from Zach Zurn. If you have a pedal line (doesn’t have to be in a board) for your rig, please email me a photo, bio, description of pedals and routing to pedalline@nulleffectsbay.com. Every Friday I’ll showcase a pedal line submission. Make sure you include any links to your band or music page.

Also.. remember to enter the Flex Reaction Compound 44 Give Away. You can enter here.

Pedal Line Friday - 8/26 - Zach ZurnHey Effects Bay! Here’s my board.

Chain:

This1sMyne Buffer/Splitter // Love that it gets me a buffered boost right away in my signal chain. You need it running long cable runs! This splits the signal into two outputs. One goes straight to my tuner that stays on always, and the other goes through my chain.

Rothwell Love Squeeze // Got this thing a few years back because Pro Guitar Shop Demos rated it the best compressor on the market. Love this thing. Truly transparent, adds awesome sustain, and allows me to drive the front end of my amp for natural breakup.

Emerson Custom Em-Drive // Classic Transparent Overdrive for a little grit and volume boost if you’d like.

JHS Morning Glory with Red Remote Switch // One of my favorite ODs on the market. And the Red Remote option, switching into high gain mode, almost gives you another OD on your board!

Scepter Pedals El Rey OD // Cody Gasser, the creator and maker of Scepter Pedals, makes cool stuff! He’s a local guy near me and this is his first release. I can’t say enough good things about this OD – it’s gonna blow up! It can be as transparent as you want like the Em-Drive or can get colored like a TS808. He endorses me as an artist and values our partnership!

EHX Pitch Fork // A great budget solution for those who want the POG feel. Other intervals they provide are cool too! Makes my ambient sweeps sound like an organ when paired with thick delay and verb.

Lehle Mono Volume Pedal // After having two strings break on my Ernie Ball VP Jr., I got sick of the mechanical downsides of the pedal. The Lehle is everything I ever wanted! No moving parts (uses magnetic technology), got a built in buffer, and you can adjust the tension of the sweep for your liking. Leslie endorses me as an artist and go above and beyond to make sure I’m getting the best product, promotion, and service!

Digitech Obscura Altered Delay // I always knew Digitech as a subpar budget brand, but this line of pedals they just released are dope. The Obscura delay gets wild degraded sounds and even has stereo abilities and tap tempo in this small enclosure! Love it.

Source Audio Nemesis Delay with Saturn Works Pedals Tap Switch // Another one of my endorsing companies, Source Audio makes the coolest stuff! Sell your TimeLine and get this thing. It’s half the size and I believe has double the capability! You can connect your iPhone to it with the Source Audio Neuro App and get so many more sounds and parameter controls, plus over a hundred presets saved through MIDI!

Strymon Big Sky Reverb // Who doesn’t love this thing? Haven’t found a unit that can give me classic snapbacks for surf rock and then spacious verbs for Sigur Ros covers. Super pleased with this pedal and Strymon customer service is great, too.

I house this all on a Pedaltrain PT-3, running two Voodoo Labs Pedal Power 2+ units underneath to power it all. I use George L solderless and soldered pancake cables (sponsored partnership) and they are great! I haven’t had ANY issues with these cables and they’re virtually noiseless.

I run into a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe III. Love that classic Fender tone and it handles pedals great.

Playing a Reverend Slingshot, G&L ASAT, and Fender Jaguar Baritone Custom through this stuff.

Thanks for all you do guys!
