Many of the world’s finest luthiers and musicians will gather September 30 to October 2 in Santa Barbara, California, for a four-night, three-day celebration of music, instruments, stories and teachings. This event will satisfy all acoustic fans whether they are collectors, players, builders or connoisseurs of fine music.
Fifty professional recording artists will present concerts on three stages all day long and in venues around town for dinner and evening concerts. Featured players include Fingerstyle Championship winners Muriel Anderson, Richard Smith (with the Hot Club of Nashville), Michael Chapdelaine, Tim Sparks and Antoine Dufour.

They will be joined by renowned teachers including Tony McManus and Teja Gerken to lead 24 Master Classes in multiple genres at all skill levels.
One hundred and forty-four luthiers from 16 countries will present 650 of their finest steel-string, classical and harp guitars, ukuleles and more to collectors and musicians. Many icons of the craft will be in attendance, including Alquier, Hill, Manzer, Matsuda, McKnight, Ribbecke, Ryan, Sand, Traugott, Turner, Wingert and many more.
The Celebration is a unique opportunity to meet many contemporary masters of lutherie, to audition and purchase the world’s finest handmade instruments directly from the builders, and to hear some of the finest acoustic music on the planet.
